In the middle of 2002, in the Sea garden of Varna,
Saltanat 120, is established a new Tennis Club called "Velto". Its
name is derived from the name of its creator - Velina Todorova.
The club is situated within the property of the famous
banker Atanas Burov.
TC "Velto" is the most
enthusiastic sports club in Varna is already available to anyone
wishing to sport, to relax, to be taught and to have fun.
After 4 years the facts
come to the front. Lisa Stornetta reaches the silver medal in the
Bulgarian national Competition Singles in the category "14 and
Under" and the bronze medal in the European Team Competition; Elena
Uzunova wins the bronze medal in the National Singles Competition -
Women 2006 and the bronze in the National Tournament - Mixed
Doubles.
The ambitions of the
tennis club "Velto" include creating a convenient and cozy place for
people of all ages, for the whole family. A priority of the club is
to expand its activities by creating its own Tennis Academy "Velto"
for talented and ambitious children.
